A Brief History of Club Roma

Club Roma, located in St. Catharines, Ontario, has a rich and vibrant history that dates back to its establishment in 1962. Originally founded as a social club for the local Italian community, it has since evolved into a prominent cultural and event venue in the Niagara region. Over the years, Club Roma has hosted countless weddings, celebrations, and cultural events, becoming a cherished hub for the Italian-Canadian community and the broader population. With its warm hospitality, exquisite cuisine, and beautiful surroundings, Club Roma plays a vital role in preserving and celebrating the traditions and heritage of the Italian-Canadian community in St. Catharines.

Reception and Ceremony

The great thing about Club Roma is that every space they offer is absolutely beautiful. Whether it’s one of their outside or inside areas, you can be sure every location is picture-ready. There are three rooms to choose from that include; the Starlight Room, Gemini Room, and the Graden Pavilion.

The Starlight Room, which is one of my favourites, hosts up to 220 guests. It features twinkling lights on the ceiling as well as shooting stars. It’s a spacious and magical setting for any reception. This venue can be rented for $500 plus tax.

The Gemini Room, which is one of their largest locations, hosts up to 500 guests. The space is modern with a touch of rustic. The room is flexible and accommodates both large and intimate weddings. This venue can be rented for $500 plus tax.

Lastly, the Garden Pavilion, which is surrounded by gorgeous gardens and majestic foliage, hosts up to 250 guests. The windowed pavilion makes you feel like you’re stepping into a fairytale. This venue can be rented for $1,000 plus tax.

The club also offers a variety of packages throughout the year that you can customize and upgrade. They vary in price but include delicious catered meals.
