A Brief History of White Oaks Conference Resort and Spa

White Oaks Resort and Spa, located in the picturesque town of Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, boasts a rich history dating back to its establishment in 1984. Originally conceived as a private tennis club, it quickly evolved into a luxurious, all-encompassing resort and spa, catering to guests seeking relaxation and wellness. Over the years, White Oaks has become renowned for its exceptional amenities, including a world-class spa, fitness center, award-winning dining options, and conference facilities. Reception and Ceremony

One of the great things about White Oaks is the variety of spaces they offer. In total, they offer 8 different indoor rooms and outdoor areas to hold your dream wedding day.

If you’re looking for a beautiful outdoor ceremony space with a backdrop that includes a charming bridge that is surrounded by a lush pond, then consider the White Oaks garden area. It’s a fantastic spot for photos that always turn out brilliantly without much effort. Scared that your ceremony might get rained out? Worry not, the spa has you covered and has a room specifically dedicated to keep all of your guests dry if the skies decide to open up. Both locations’ guest capacity varies.

The Ballroom is a sophisticated space that can host up to 160 guests. It features crystal chandeliers, French Doors, and a built-in dance floor ready for your guests to bust out their best moves. The adjoining Royal Oak Lounge also provides a large reception area with access to the patio garden.

Their largest venue, the Grand Event Room, is an impressive 6,000 square feet with modern decor that can host up to 430 guests. Through the floor-to-ceiling windows of the adjoining Gardenview Foyer and patio, the space is encased in natural sunlight with access to the magnificent sculptured gardens.

The Garden Studio which is located in the spa’s newest expansion of the Conference Centre, can host up to 60 guests. With its muted colour tones, you can let your creativity take over in this intimate space. The room has a lovely view of the gardens, which is easily accessible through the glass doors.

Another intimate space is the Play Reserve which can host up to 42 guests. The venue is a great choice for bridal showers, bachelorettes or celebrations. The space is stylish and the perfect size to stroll around and chat with friends and family.

The Sunhill space has a more modern feel with its teardrop windows and stunning panoramic views of the outside gardens. The venue can host up to 200 guests.

Lastly, the Upper Studio, with a capacity of 120 guests, is located in the private wing of the Conference Centre. The elegant space features a glass-enclosed staircase that leads to a private reception area, adorned with a gas fireplace and an escarpment view.
